Dr. Shiere

      Dr. Shiere grew up in Durham, NH.  He graduated from Oyster River High School and received his bachelors degree from UNH.  After earning his DMD from Tufts University, he joined the US Air Force and completed a general practice residency.  After completing a residency in endodontics at Tufts University, he returned to the New Hampshire Seacoast, joining Seacoast Endodontic Associates in 1996. 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Forbes

Dr. Forbes grew up in Florida before heading to New England to receive her bachelors degree from Boston University.  She worked for the VA as an enginneer before pursuing her career in dentistry.  Dr. Forbes received her DMD from a joint Harvard-MIT program and her training in Endodontics from Tufts University.  In her free time Dr. Forbes enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Decker

Dr. Nathan Decker grew up in Portsmouth, NH and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He extended his education in general dentistry by completing a one year General Practice Residency at Jersey Shore Medical Center. He then completed his specialty training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After completing this two-year residency, he has worked in Manhattan, Central New Jersey and Brookfield, Connecticut. In addition to working in private practice, Dr. Decker’s endodontic expertise has earned him Diplomate status from the American Board of Endodontics. In 2015, Dr. Decker decided to return home to Portsmouth, NH when he became a partner at Seacoast Endodontic Associates. When not at the office, Dr. Decker enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoying all that the Seacoast has to offer.

Dr. Slate

Dr. Stephanie R. Slate was born and raised in Connecticut and graduated from Brandeis University. She earned her DMD with honors at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she won the prestigious Nesbitt Award for clinical excellence and also received the Matthew Boylan Scholarship in recognition of her positive impact on the profession and the community.  Following Harvard, she went on to complete specialty training in endodontics at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  Dr. Slate is a member of the New Hampshire Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontics.  Away from the office she enjoys jogging, traveling, painting, and above all, spending quality time with her husband and young daughter.
